Global Adaptability & Regional Compliance

Xnair condensers are shipped to over 40 countries. Each unit is configured at the factory to meet the voltage, refrigerant, and environmental requirements of its destination region. Below are the key regional adaptations we support.

Africa & Middle East — High Ambient Operation

In regions where ambient temperatures regularly exceed 45°C, we upsize the condenser coil by 15%–25% and specify 2.8mm–3.5mm fin spacing to reduce airflow resistance. Fan motors are rated for continuous duty at 55°C ambient. This prevents unexpected high-pressure cutouts during peak summer conditions.

Europe & North America — Low-GWP & Regulatory Compliance

For EU markets governed by the F-Gas Regulation (EU 517/2014), we offer R448A, R449A, and natural refrigerant R290 variants. All units shipped to Europe carry CE marking and a Declaration of Conformity. North American orders are configured for 208-230V/60Hz or 460V/60Hz supply with UL-recognized components where specified.

Southeast Asia & South America — Corrosion Protection & Transport Durability

High humidity and coastal salt spray demand enhanced protection. We apply a blue epoxy anti-corrosion coating to the aluminum fins (tested to ISO 12944 C3/C4 standards) and use 304 stainless steel fasteners. For road transport over rough terrain, condensers are packed in fumigated plywood crates with 40mm closed-cell foam cushioning and steel banding.

Engineering & Construction Details

Every Xnair condenser is built around a rigid galvanized steel frame with removable side panels for service access. The construction choices below directly impact long-term reliability and maintenance costs.

  • Heat Exchanger Coil: Internally grooved seamless copper tubes (Ø9.52mm, 0.35mm wall) mechanically expanded into louvered aluminum fins. The grooved inner surface increases heat transfer area by approximately 25% compared to smooth tubes, while the fin collars ensure consistent thermal contact after expansion.
  • Fin Material & Spacing: Standard fin material is bare aluminum 1100-H14 with 2.2mm spacing. For corrosive environments, blue epoxy-coated fins (hydrophilic) with 2.8mm spacing are available. The wider spacing slightly reduces total heat transfer area per row but is essential for dusty or high-humidity locations.
  • Fan Motors & Guards: External rotor axial fans with IP54-rated motors, Class F insulation. Fan guards are powder-coated steel wire (Ø4mm) compliant with EN 294 safety standards. Each fan is dynamically balanced at the factory to keep vibration below 2.8 mm/s RMS.
  • Refrigerant Connections: Schrader valve access ports on both inlet and outlet headers. Connections are brazed with 15% silver content brazing alloy (BCuP-5 equivalent) for leak integrity under thermal cycling. All brazed joints undergo a helium mass spectrometer leak test at 2.8 MPa.
  • Subcooling Circuit: A dedicated subcooling loop integrated into the bottom rows of the coil ensures liquid refrigerant exits the condenser with 3–5K of subcooling under design conditions, preventing flash gas in the liquid line and improving overall system efficiency.
  • Mounting & Lifting: Four heavy-duty lifting eyes are welded to the frame corners. The base channel is pre-drilled for M16 anchor bolts on a 650mm–1100mm pitch depending on model. A vibration-damping pad kit is included as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most common technical inquiries we receive from global buyers during the procurement process. Each answer reflects real engineering practice at Xnair's manufacturing facility.

How to select a condenser for high ambient temperature environments?

For regions where ambient temperatures regularly exceed 40°C—such as parts of the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, or South Asia—we recommend uprating the condenser capacity by 15%–25% above the nominal design load. Additionally, specifying wider fin spacing (2.8mm–3.5mm) helps maintain airflow when dust accumulation is a concern. Xnair's high-ambient condenser variants include fan motors rated for continuous operation at 55°C ambient and a larger coil face area to compensate for reduced air density at elevated temperatures. Our application engineers can review your site's peak summer temperature data and recommend the appropriate model variant.

What spare parts and after-sales service does Xnair provide?

Xnair maintains a spare parts inventory covering fan motors, fan blades, coil sections, contactors, and mounting hardware for all active C-Series models. Spare parts are shipped via air freight within 72 hours of order confirmation. Every condenser carries a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects. For troubleshooting, our engineering team provides video-call support during business hours (UTC+8), and we can dispatch a service engineer to project sites for large-scale installations upon request.

Can Xnair customize refrigerant type and voltage for my region?

Yes, customization is a core part of our service. We configure condensers for R290 (propane), R744 (CO₂), R448A, and R449A depending on your local environmental regulations and system design. Voltage options include 220V/1Ph/60Hz, 380V/3Ph/50Hz, 440V/3Ph/60Hz, and 460V/3Ph/60Hz. Other regional specifications can be accommodated with a minimum order quantity. Each customized unit is individually tested and labeled with its specific refrigerant charge and electrical rating before crating.

What packaging and shipping precautions does Xnair take for overseas transport?

All condensers are packed in ISPM-15 compliant fumigated plywood crates. Inside, 40mm closed-cell polyethylene foam cushions the unit on all six sides, and desiccant bags are placed inside the crate to control humidity during sea transit. The condenser is strapped to a heavy-duty pallet with galvanized steel banding. Tilt indicators and shock sensors are affixed to the crate exterior so that rough handling during transit can be identified upon arrival. For containerized shipments, crates are braced with timber struts to prevent shifting.

Quality Assurance & Industry Certifications

Factory Testing Protocol & Compliance

Before any condenser leaves our Shanghai facility, it must pass the following mandatory checks. We do not ship untested units. This commitment to 100% testing is the foundation of our quality system.

  • Helium Leak Test: Every brazed refrigerant circuit is pressurized with helium to 2.8 MPa and scanned with a mass spectrometer. Maximum allowable leak rate: 1×10⁻⁶ mbar·L/s.
  • Electrical Safety Test: Insulation resistance measured at 500V DC (minimum 100 MΩ across all phases to ground). Dielectric strength verified at 1500V AC for 60 seconds.
  • Full-Load Performance Run: Each condenser is operated at design conditions on our test bench for a minimum of 45 minutes. Refrigerant pressures, air volume, and fan power consumption are recorded and must fall within ±3% of the design specification.
  • Visual & Dimensional Inspection: Frame weld integrity, fin straightness, and paint coverage are visually inspected. Critical mounting dimensions are verified against the production drawing with calibrated gauges.

Applicable Standards & Certifications: CE Marking (EU), ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, RoHS compliant components, and optional UL component recognition for North American projects. Our welding procedures are qualified to ASME Section IX standards where required by project specifications.
